Limited hiring. Interviewing. New-hires are brought to MSP for 2 days of orientation and then sent home for 30 days to complete a home study course. After the 30 days, they are returned to MSP for 1 week of general operating subjects followed by systems/procedures and simulator training. New-hires going to all three domiciles. All new-hires will receive an ATP with a PIC ERJ170/190 type rating. Once training begins in MSP, all new-hires have to provide their own housing during training (you are considered to be based in MSP as a new-hire). Compass jobs page. Mainline flow through: Once pilot has been with Compass for 30 months and is a captain, he has the right to go directly to mainline. Now that the merger has occurred the pilots can flow to Delta or Northwest when either are hiring. Once the airlines are under one certificate they will go to the new Delta. $12,000 training contract, valid for 1 year. Amount is pro-rated $1,000/month.
