Ameristar Air Cargo, Inc. has operated as a FAR 121 air carrier in the on-demand cargo market in the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, Central and South America utilizing DC-9 aircraft since 2000.

Skills and Qualifications:

·        ATP with at least one turbojet (Group II) type rating without a SIC restriction, 3000TT, Jet time preferred

·        Ability to pass a 10-year Background Check, Fingerprint CHRC, DOT Drug Screen and ability to enter Canada

·        FAR Part 121 PIC flight time preferred

·        Eligible to upgrade to Captain status based upon performance and previous experience and not seniority

Pay:

 *Average yearly overage is at least 20% above Yearly Guarantee

2022 Captain W2 Wages ranged from $218,047 to $360,252

F/O wages range from $147,626 to $258,763

 Starting annual salary $120,000 on 1st day of ground school

 $2.75/hour per diem paid when away from HOME BASE

Lodging paid when away from home base including training

         Extra day rate (Range):

Captain:           $509   $609

F/O:                   $445   $570

        Loading pay on freighters – Average $500/month

        Pay above guarantee is directly related to hours flown each month

         Extra pay for a given month begins after 15 flight hours

         Bonus programs based on:

o   Working at least 12 extra days per calendar year

o   Separate (additional) Company bonus evaluated on a quarterly basis

Schedule

209 scheduled days per year.  Flexible scheduling

Average days away from home in 2022 was 14 days.

Domestic Per Diem (Hourly): $2.75

International Per Diem (Hourly): $2.75 (Evaluated depending on country)
