John Steinbeck is a Boeing 747-400 captain for a major cargo airline. He was a flight instructor in Dallas, Texas, before flying for two small Part 121 jet airlines. Today he flies international routes out of his base in Anchorage, Alaska. He is type rated on the 747-400, MD-11, 767/757, and 727.
