The NTSB recommended that Pratt & Whitney PW2037 engines, most commonly installed on Boeing 757 aircraft, be removed from service until inspection of the 2nd stage turbine hub is complete.An investigation into the uncontained failure of a Pratt & Whitney PW2037 engine installed on a Delta Airlines Boeing 757 on August 6,2008 prompted the recommendation.
