- Colgan Air Inc and Mesaba Aviation Inc, both owned by Pinnacle Airlines Corp., to be merged into one airline under the Mesaba operating certificate
- The 'new' Mesaba will operate turboprops only and Pinnacle will acquire all 41 CRJ900 and 19 CRJ200 from Mesaba and operate as a turbojet-only airline
- This phases out the Colgan name and certificate
- First new Q400 delivery will occur August; 1-2 aircraft delivered a month through April 2011
- Colgan to resume Saab flying out of LaGuardia to ALB, MHT, MVY, and ACK on June 1
- ALPA began negotiating first pilot contract in September 2009
- Delivery of 15 exercised Q400s to begin in August 2010 and run through April 2011
- Colgan owned by Pinnacle Holdings
- Operates for Continental Connection, United Express, and US Airways Express
- Colgan pays for parking at any airport (up to the cost of parking at base)
